In this paper we investigate the problem of simultaneously allocating orders and mobile storage racks to static pickers. Here are allocated pickers enable them pick all products for that have been them. Problems type considered here arise in facilities operating as robotic fulfilment systems. We present a formulation an integer program discuss complexity problem. two heuristics (matheuristics) problem, one using partial optimisation, directly based upon our formulation. also consider how sequence presentation at each individual picker formulate program. prove that, subject certain conditions being satisfied, feasible rack can be produced by focusing on just subset dealt with picker.
